Euryleptid? E

Karolle writes: I found three of these flatworms all spaced out under the same rock in rubble and broken coral area in North Kihei today. I’m assuming they are of the Euryleptid family, but I’ve never seen anything like them. Plus I can’t find anything similar on John’s site.
They were quite small and did not move or seem at all disturbed by exposure to light. I’d say 12 mm when stretched out and circular when dormant. It was a sea flea that alerted me to the fact that they were more than weird tunicates :) as one of them moved slightly when pounced upon! .

There doesn't seem to be anything like these worms on the Newman-Cannon CD or in the more recent Ryanskiy flatworm book. They are euryleptid-like in that they appear to have true marginal tentacles and clusters of cerebral eyespots. The yellow 'face' is notable.
