Pseudoceros B
photos 1-2: Cory Pittman, near Makena Landing, Maui. 5-20 ft. Size 7 mm.
photo 3: Rob Johnson, Pupukea, Oahu. photo 4 Jill Mankoff, Puako, Hawaii Island. 35 ft.

Background color dark brown with small light spots of irregular size. Much larger, irregular, white-edged pale spots crowd together at the margin in two loose bands, with smaller spots at the outside. The pseudotentacles are simple folds. It is probably a juvenile.

The photo was sent to Leslie Newman in 1999. She commented: "Pseudoceros sp. - new? - juvenile." Nothing like it appears on Leslie's CD.

In July 2018 Rob Johnson found what appears to be an adult of the same species at Pupukea, Oahu (photo 3). He writes: I took these pictures on a dive from Firehouse on Oahu, 7/27/2018. Unfortunately I was shooting wide-angle so these are cropped in. This was right outside the entrance of the cathedral, so I would guess about 30 feet deep.

In July 2023 Jill Mankoff found another at Puako, Hawaii. (photo 4).

These are the only photos known to me of this worm. Additional photos would be welcome.
